Keenan Jusak
Damianus Keenan Jusak is a Mathematics and Statistics student with a deep interest in
finance, especially quantitative finance, markets, and risk. He completed the Mathematics
& Statistics Foundation at the University of Warwick with an overall grade of 93 and is
now reading for a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics there as a Global Excellence Scholar.
He specialises in stochastic modelling, actuarial mathematics, and machine learning.

- Infinitics 8 Competition, cyber insurance pricing (1st place). Modelled computer state transitions (Susceptible, Infected, Quarantined, Damaged) as a continuous-time Markov chain and priced premiums using Monte Carlo simulation. Led to a scholarship offer in actuarial mathematics at Universitas Pelita Harapan.
- BayesQuiz. Educational quiz platform using Bayesian inference to update question-difficulty estimates. Built with React and Firebase; 70+ quizzes and 400+ student accounts.
- IMC Prosperity 4, algorithmic trading (top 10% of 18,800 teams, solo entry). Trading models across a 50-product simulated market: linear regression and EMA fair-value forecasting, mean-reversion and market-making logic, Black-Scholes options pricing, and game-theoretic bid optimisation in the manual rounds.
- Proofly (by TigaData). Full-stack TMUA exam-preparation platform built solo: React and Vite frontend, Supabase for database, row-level security and auth, Stripe for subscription billing.
- Diabetes Prediction. Benchmarking study of supervised learning algorithms on clinical measurements, comparing logistic regression, trees, random forests, SVMs, and gradient boosting.
- DRW Crypto Forecasting Competition. Short-horizon price forecasting using PCA, feature selection, and tuned LightGBM and XGBoost models.
